Overview: Harvesting Change: Growing Through the Seasonal Shift is an 8-session psychotherapy group designed to support you in navigating the transition from summer to winter with intention and mindfulness. Using the seasonal shift as a metaphor, this group helps you align with natural processes and honor your personal changes. Through reflective practices, supportive discussion, and mindfulness and nature-based experiential exercises, you will learn to embrace the rhythms of the seasons and work harmoniously with them, leading to a more intentional and integrated approach to your personal growth and well-being. This group will be held in-person at my office in Portland, Maine.
About Elliott Day, LCPC-c (he/him): With nearly a decade of experience leading diverse groups in both clinical and non-clinical settings, group work has been a primary focus of my professional work. My background includes significant experience as a wilderness guide and therapist at a holistic nature-based treatment program. I’ve worked extensively with mentors and clinical supervisors to develop and refine my group leadership skills. Over the years, I’ve grown personally committed to creating spaces where more people can experience the unique benefits of group therapy. I’m excited to bring this group offering to my outpatient practice, and I eagerly await those ready to delve deeper into their personal exploration.
